I'm Nikki and I love writing. I've been writing about beauty, fitness and my life for the past 4-5 years at www.nikmakeupjunkie.com, but I think it's time I separate the food and fitness posts from the beauty, so here we are.

I've been on a fitness journey for years. I constantly fall off the bandwagon and by the time I get back on, I've more than undone any progress I made. I've had some health issues, medication changes and I'm currently back to trying to get healthy. 

I have quite a bit of weight to lose and confidence to gain. This is where I'm going to document the entire process, starting back again from day 1. I'll be writing about all of my struggles, feelings, goals, successes and failures.

I'm also transitioning to a plant-based diet. I'm not saying I'm going vegan yet because I'm still learning and I don't want to get nailed to the wall the first time I make a mistake. I'll be documenting my transition and sharing recipes here.

In addition, I'll be sharing work outs, motivational posts, things I find inspiring, any progress and every failure.

This blog will be honest. It will be real. It will be a log of my struggles, failures and successes. Hopefully, it'll be a source of motivation, laughs, good food and entertainment for others.
